There is nothing remotely healthy about potato chips.
And the flavored ones are usually so full of chemicals why would anyone eat them.
For me it is the crunch.
The violent breaking apart of the chip into a million pieces.
Each bite is a little joyous moment of destruction.
I’ve long ago replaced Potato chips with homemade Kale chips.
God I sound so vegan. (Which I am not)
Here is how it works.
Buy the fresh kale you can find.
Cut out the stems.
Then cut the leaves into chips.
Toss with olive oil.
Bake at 250 until crisp.
Toss with a little salt.
Let the destruction begin.
